Thats exactly how a case can develop on ebay. It sos easy to push each other further and further.
Having myself sold lots of stuff I know why I stopped it on ebay in the last years. Any individual, private seller is no longer of any importance for this company. Only the large professionell ones...
Thanks for the input, guys!
Its a rainy and cold day-off here in germany, so have plenty of time to do some evilbay today:(
Anyone out there who needs a Banjo Patterson, heritage fawn, or a Camp Draft, Glen Grey;)
BTW, back in 1992 I bought three classic Barbour hats, Sherlock-Holmes-style...
Last year my head measured 61.5cm.
After some serious weight loss during last winter and beyond I am now down to 60.0cm.
Even if I were to accept a tolerance of 0.5cm due to haircut or measuring errors, that a lot of a difference.
My caps and berets still fit, the felt hats and Panama no more...
Because its cool, cloudy and drizzling, my tweed cap from Hanna Hats:
Because have a lot of gardening to do today, namely digging in all these stones and seriously cutting back a way-too-large neophyte in the neighbors garden
it will be this one of many berets I own:
And, because I still...
I used this link for my very first replacement ribbon and I am definitly not good with a needle.
Have a go, its fun once it finished and if it wont work they way you want it, you can always send it in to a hatter for a professional replacement. I restitched the corners of the bow since and am...
70km from my hometown and I learn about it in an american forum:rolleyes: :D

P.S.:
Until now I only came upon one beret which I...
Here are my measurements, taken directly from the berets I own, when they were new:
Tolosa Tupida
-Cotton 98gr/30cm
-Plato Grande 12" 86gr/30cm very soft, smooth surface
Boinas Elosegui
-Basica 11.5" 96gr/30cm...
I get my berets both from Ron Grear in Seattle and Daan Kalthoff in Wellington.
The former stocks only the heavy "Super Lujo" in all sizes, the latter has a wide selection of different fabric weights and diameters. Since I own lots of different ones, I have made a list stating weight, diameter...
This is what I came upon:
A small bag, more wide than tall, filled with 1lb of dried peas and one side coated with the extremly tacky "Seam Grip" by McNett

It sits on the dashboard and, thanks to the Seamgrip, wont slide...
