    I had to scratch aggressively (which is a great indication to me of the robustness) to reveal a bluish hue. Wonderfully the black dye is rather deep.

    I just received this from Langlitz confirming Horse sample. I communicated with Langlitz and the Japanese tannery is very secretive about the tanning method/type used and will not divulge much information. But judge for your self. Himel oil-tanned Shinki vs Langlitz horse.
