I measured multiple times with help. I also considered the "fit" I was looking for. I went with snug. The thickness of leather has an influence on the fit too. But with the fit guarantee you cannot go very wrong.- sweetfights

Langlitz is fantastic
I just ordered another in horsehide- Simply the best fit ever. The back has what they call pinstripes- an easy available option. I have had the medium cowhide and the "colored" leather. Looks great- just a different style and fit. When you are use to a tapered look and fit it can feel "big" around the stomach when you try on a different style. Do not let it bother you. This jacket fits you perfectly in my opinion.- sweetfights
