DesertDan,
That hat is incredible, I can't imagine how do you do a double crease and 3 rows of stitching so neatly. Not much room for error, really shows the hat makers skill!
Hi Guys
Just following up with a question. If you give you chest measurement as 41 inches and your midriff as 37 1/2 inches, what would you expect a trim cafe racer to measure, I'm thinking pit to pit 22inches across navel 20 inches. Would that be about right for a slim fit? Don't want to make...
Another day of amazing hats, I particularly like the hand creases and classic proportions.
Bright, but cold morning here, collar up against the chilly breeze, NW 'China' to keep my head warm.
Have a great weekend!
Ok. couple of provisos
1. The sun is very low in the sky still, so harsh shadows
2. I didn't have a grey card so the auto white balance is thrown by the darkness of the hat.
So that being said here are some full sun pics
It is still far too light, but the colour in shadow is actually...
mmbarnes - love the felted edge on that C&K 40. Really wish it was still available as an option on modern hats.
Really nice hat
1mach1 again great brim treatment, and lovely fedora
If only I could. A succession of Atlantic lows means grey overcast skies! As soon as the weather improves I'll post some better pics, but that might not be until June!
The decorating is finally finished and I get to my camera.
Here is my latest from Mike. It is in the new Winchester 100% beaver black cherry felt that is much darker than the one it replaced. I like both, but I feel this new colour is more versatile.
It is extremely hard to photograph...
Hi
Any chance of some better photographs and some measurements - pit to pit, length base of collar to hem, and width across shoulders.
Also what is back jerky horse hide, is that as opposed to front quarter?
I'm guessing it's too big for me, but if it's a military fit...
Many thanks
