Hi
I've been busy over the holidays and haven't had time yet to catch up with all the great posts, in the meantime he is a poor quality photo of me and my family in Covent Garden, central London on New Years Eve.
Happy New Year!
Nice hat Greg, classic lines - is this hat going into production?
I'm more of a lurker than a regular poster but have enjoyed looking at everyone's hats this past year. Looking forward to more in 2015.
Merry Christmas
Greg (London, UK)
Glad you arrived back safely Greg.
Case hopper six, wow I thought having 3 was tough. Hats off to you both.
Windy here so wore my only flat cap.
Best wishes.
Greg
Thanks, my daughters have finally reached the age where they realise less is sometimes more. They take all the responsibility for dressing the tree and this year is the best by far.
Greg, looks like you've had an amazing vacation, and I'm so jealous of your weather!
From a cold but bright England, my VS 'Laura' in dove. After selling it's brother in silvermist, as I really didn't need two hats so similar, I decided to take him out for a walk to help with the separation...
Some really nice hats these past few days.
Gdurand. Is that a felted edge on the Knox? If so, I think that is my ideal hat. What would one expect to pay on the bay for a hat like that in good condition in 7 3/8?
Wow Greg
13 hats in 7 days. My hat's off to you sir!
I took two to Turkey, one felt, one panama and got grief from the wife. Should really have stuck with the panama, but couldn't resist the chance to wear an 'Indyesqe' hat around the many ruins we visited. It's the child in me!
Have an...
Nice fedora 1mach1, but there is something quite poignant about an old car rusting away like that. I guess it's not to anthropomorphise them.
Great shots very haunting.
I think you were badly advised.
7 1/4 x pi = 22.78 inches which is approx 22 3/4, which is roughly your head size, 7 3/8 is 23.17, well over 23 inches. I must admit it's much easier in cm!
Cheers Greg, I do love, as you say, the mid century look. Particularly diamond creases, though this hat has a centre dent. But I think all my hats are straight sided with very little taper.
Loving your selection of caps, I must get one for the winter days ahead!
