The decorating is finally finished and I get to my camera.

Here is my latest from Mike. It is in the new Winchester 100% beaver black cherry felt that is much darker than the one it replaced. I like both, but I feel this new colour is more versatile.

It is extremely hard to photograph accurately, the colour in real life has far greater depth.

Outdoor pics. Full sun. NOW! :)

Ok. couple of provisos
1. The sun is very low in the sky still, so harsh shadows
2. I didn't have a grey card so the auto white balance is thrown by the darkness of the hat.

So that being said here are some full sun pics

It is still far too light, but the colour in shadow is actually fairly close to how the felt looks in the sun light.

Sir; Color! Spring must be closer than distant.

The hat is truly lovely. The felt color and ribbon work coordinate very well. I imagine it does not take much thought to be able to coordinate the hat with any attire in your wardrobe. Congrats. Wear the lid proudly. Best, Eric -

My spot is coming up for a 1940's Stratoliner clone in Granite Gray with dark gray ribbon.
