I have a stunning Aero USN Flight Jacket for sale. It's in excellent condition and is from a smoke free and pet free home.
I bought it earlier this year from Plumbline a member here. I'm only selling as it is slightly too large for me. It is not broken in and is in virtually brand new...
Thanks Monitor, I think it's perfect too. I can honestly say I don't want to change anything. I'm not sure I've ever felt that way about a jacket before. There's always something I'd alter if I could.
The pockets are 5" long.
Couple more pictures, unfortunately taken under artificial light making the leather appear shinier than in real life, but best I can do for now:
The leather is heavy but very pliable. It's the best leather I've ever owned but I don't have the knowledge base of many on here. I cant wait...
I have always loved the simple lines of the Cafe Racer MC jacket. I had looked to getting a vintage example, but the prices are high and the supply low, so I decided to go for a repro.
I really liked the look of Shinki horse hide, but an already expensive jacket can suffer from further custom...
Mine does, not a lot but the new leather smell is definitely there. I actually really like it! Previouslly I've found that this new jacket smell fades pretty quickly.
I've just received a repro from Steve. It's everything I hoped for. I'll post some photos over the weekend.
Cheers Steve fantastic customer service as well. Steve sends photos and talks you through the construction process. Really feels like a collaborative effort. Can't praise him highly enough.
Just received my Buco J-100 from Thedi leather and it is absolutely stunning. I'll get some pictures up at the weekend.
I'm not as knowledgable as many on here but for me it's a brilliant execution of the famous style in an incredibly beautiful leather. I'm over joyed.
I'm new to this jacket malarkey having accidentally dropped in from the hat forum. My first visit was an accident but I keep coming back and have bought my first jackets!
So a newbie and my opinion may therefore have little merit, but that is one of the nicest jackets I've seen. Lovely.
Eric's pictures not only show its versatility, but how it can change hue depending on the light and the colours it is paired with. It really is something of a chameleon.
It's probably my second favourite after black cherry.
Ok, best I could do as I suddenly need to be somewhere...
Steel grey, granite and silver belly in natural light. The silver belly appears a shade too light the others look pretty good to my eyes. Hope this helps a bit and doesn't muddy the waters!
(Edit - on my laptop the hats all appear a...
This is my Granite hat, on my monitor this looks a pretty good match to the colour.
Excuse the ugly mug!
It does have some earth undertones, and it's also on the lighter side of mid grey to my eyes. I have a Winchester steel grey, I could take pictures of that, with granite and silverbelly...
