    Still hunting for my perfect Cafe Racer, this will be attempt #3 arriving next week. Plain simple Harley Davidson from 70s I think? Tried a vintage Excelled first ( measured smaller than seller described), the a new stock Aero CR (larger chest than advertised), so fingers crossed this is it!

    Went out on the bike in this Vanson Force 40. Probably 20yrs old and the hide is the best I’ve ever handled from Vanson. Similar waxy thick feel the CXL steer. Had 3 jackets arrive this week and this is the only keeper. Good “bike fit” for me but I wouldn’t wear it casually.

    Same difference. Pit-pit should equal half of the total chest circumference. I wouldn’t take a smaller 38 with 18”shoulders. Always need 19”. But pit from 22 to 22.75 is ideal for me.

    Unseasonably cool in NJ today. Still "breaking in" an old Brooks gold label that apparently never got much rotation time in its heyday. Nice size 44 with good arm length even. Probably my best vintage pickup to date!

    Exactly why I grabbed that stock CR from Aeros sale page. It was the only one Ive seen on there without hand warmers in a long time and had most of my measurements! I just need to rig a swap of the ball chain chest pullers to circle rings.
