Thedi build quality is very nice with surgical precision.ww
Eh, they look OK and all but when has Greece become a major producer of a quality product? I mean, family owned Diners in NJ for sure! Greek diners breakfast can't be beat, but jackets? As for first choice, if quality / fit / price being equal, I'd always try supporting an American biz.

The build quality of my Thedi's was better than my Vansons. Also, a recent Model F I bought was immediately sent back as it did not fit worth a damn and the chest pocket placement was completely wrong.

Would I buy a Thedi to ride a motorcycle? Probably not since I need underarm gussets and a bi swing so I'd go for another Langlitz. I have had a few Vansons and to be honest, I'll probably never buy one again.

Someone mentioned Johnson Leathers and from what I've seen I think I'd like to get something made by them someday.

Well the offer of instant gratification got the better of me, clicked purchase on the stock Aero CR in black fqhh / 2 chest pocket. Really wanted to try one of the easier to wear casual Vansons since my others are all super heavy duty bike gear. Oh well. Fit pics of the Aero pending in a few days when it arrives. Fingers crossed!

It is an uphill battle against an Aero CR. The cut and hide are almost impossible to top. They understand this pattern and the fit reflects their understanding of the past.

That's interesting, Ton. Coming from you that's a significant insight. I have always avoided Aero's CR - I guess because I am not keen on the hand-warmers. I want a seal brown goat J-100 with a 28 inch back. It's become a bit of a problem. And I just bought another Brooks too - like your new one, but with the cafe racer collar. In mint condition if the seller is right. Dark brown steer. I love the piping on the front, the way it... I need a cold shower...

I’ve always felt Aero’s CR pays a nice homage to both the Brooks and Bates jackets of the past. The two chest pocket Brooks in the body and the Bates collar.

You can get it without handwarmers.

Exactly why I grabbed that stock CR from Aeros sale page. It was the only one Ive seen on there without hand warmers in a long time and had most of my measurements! I just need to rig a swap of the ball chain chest pullers to circle rings.
