I may be all confused but I thought St Jo closed. Maybe it is open but makes no westerns and sold off some of the production equipment. I have seen things on Ebay listed as "out of the Stetson factory in St Jo". I have seen Stetson westerns on ebay by a couple of sellers who have listed a lot of...
The one thing that we should all be able to agree on is that hat manufacturers have consistency in their inconsistency.
I have bought and worn extensively several each of a few Resistol and Stetson high end part beaver or all beaver hats. The same model hat will get better and worse every few...
In those photos on my monitor I do not see a hint of lavender. It appears as dark gray. Great combination. That hat with that sport coat are well matched.
OK, so that Stetson model is the Vogue. I have one that is just like that one but has matching silver binding and brim and is a mist grey.
I can't find "Vogue" on mine.
I always think of it as my "pimp" Whippet......
"the position of the latch buttons causes the latches to smack your hands when you pop them open. I wonder if they should have been swapped side to side?"
Your valet would have had his hands smacked when opening the hatbox in order to present you with the hat for your wear on that day. THis...
Houndstooth checked fedoras..........I just threw up a little in my mouth for typing that.
Bear Bryant was a great coach and probably would have won more football games with a proper fedora on.....

I have a couple of hats that got damaged after I owned them. One has a perfectly round pocket but not all the way through. The other has a few surface tracks that are little troughs. I have never caught a moth near my hats or found a larva eating on them.
I...
I don't think this is a place where anyone would be abusive so I would suggest posting a shoulders up head shot so suggestions can be made as what might look best. Crown height, taper of the crown, and the brim width all can make significant differences in the look achieved by wearing a fedora.
I have done most all of my preparations for bed and then realized when I was taking off my T shirt as the last thing to come off that I needed to remove my hat.
The Envoy in that ad is interesting. I don't recall ever seeing one displayed on here. I have never seen one on Ebay that I recognized as this hat either.
Yes, I admit it. I started wearing hats after I broke my legs so many times riding my chopper around kicking in doors of elderly people.
Those danged cell phone talking people kept running over me. Hat wearing is a much safer form of radicalism. I just don't look good in T shirts.
