    Another Multigraph from my collection.....this one from a penny arcade amusment park in Montreal which operated from 1911 to 1915. The hat has a fine furry finish (Peluche) and in a style popular with young men at the time.

    I have at least three hats with rolled sweats....all 1930's or before. Many (if not all) of the Stetson "Fray" sweats are so finished. They certainly look nice, and they have none of the splits, chipping or cracking often seen on vintage raw edge sweats. I always assumed that was their reason...

    and on the USPS....are they quarantining overseas orders still? I have had one arrive in Chicago on the 15th and it is still sitting there.......thinking a drive to town may be in order.... OR......NOT!!!!!

    I am assuming he is talking when the seller puts a soft tape across the WHOLE hat from brim to brim.....not only is it hard to read it is often blurry and the tape "dips" into the hat.......and far to often they lay the tape in one direction only.......:oops: :rolleyes:;)

    Here are two things I keep around that you hardly ever see in the household anymore though I grew up with a malt mixer in our house...... Patent dated 1934 "MIXALL" cocktail mixer...... and my No. 22 GILCHRIST patent dated 1923 and made before 1926. BOTH still running just fine......:)

    Here is my mid-20's Elgin. A spectacular find for $12 and it was recently serviced!!!! 15 jewel movement which was their best at the time (for wristwatches). It has the infamous three piece case. I do need to change the wristband to a correct stitched flat.
