Purchased this on FB last night, a 3x OR, it wasn't a bargain per se but the seller says it was their friend's dad's hat and he never wore it. I can't wait until it gets here. Don't see too many 7 1/2 long ovals come up in this condition.

That's a fine get. I've only grabbed one off the marketplace but it was a 7X CB OR I drove to Nashville to pick up. You'll enjoy that one.

Thank you! I hope it's as nice as advertised. I bought my other OR on FB also, it is probably a 60s 3X OR but not LO.

I hope to find a 7XCB someday.

I’ve been spending a lot of time on the hunt lately, but not a lot in my size and fewer still in a style I like.

I left the bidding on these two to other winners, but was trying to wrap my head around that fact that someone would hack up a sweat band this way to maybe make the hats fit. This must not have been done by the original owner as it seems that if you can afford a Rand's Custom you can afford to have it resized or a new sweat put in.
