What I wore to a Christmas party at my old job the other night.
1926 dated suit, NRA label overcoat, '20s glasses, '50s homburg, '40s tie, paul fredrick club collar shirt, 1910's cufflinks, AE cap toes and a collar bar of unknown vintage.
The present I got from the "White elephant" secret...
Anyone else curious as to what happened with Van Alden? He didn't appear at all in the last 2 episodes. I came to this realization when the finale was over that they never explained what he'd been up to, or what his bootlegging plans were.

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm running errands in my neighborhood, I dress casual '50s. Going to work, I switch off between 1920's-early 1950's depending on my mood.

Looks like it's a zoot suit styled costume made for a 1940's boogie woogie soundie film. Unless an old '70s era tailor still remembered how to cut a suit in the exact '40s specs.
Though not true vintage, it looks like a pretty decent replica for those who want the '30s look on a budget.

Needs to be pressed, and a little overpriced, but still worth a look at it. It almost looks like it came from Curly Howard's wardrobe.
