    The Age of Entitlement

I think that's probably the biggest problem with society today, most people don't know (or care) about history period. Rather bizarre in retrospect when you think about it. In the old days people had the mindset to want and have everything new and modern. My family for instance had one of those...

Vintage Car Thread - Discussion and Parts Requests

When I was younger, I never saw anything special about cars after 1962, but recently I've come to like those classic land yachts they built into the early '90s and your Lincoln is a real gem! Hardly see any shoebox Lincolns around here anymore.

    Show off the sports coats.

My 1926 dated DB suit has shoulders like that and the lapels are pretty modest too, maybe this jacket is mid-'20s.

    Are peacoats Golden Era friendly?

Peacoats are probably one of the most classic pieces of outerwear ever created. The style has been minimally changed since the 1800's, though they changed from 10 buttons to 8 buttons in late '40s. It goes with practically anything, except fedoras/porkpies in my opinion. I own a modern issue 10...

    What are you wearing today??

I had been wearing a scarf, but decided to take it off for the photo. I've thought the same thing about what kind of headwear goes with this coat. An officers cap would look nice with it, but I don't think it'd make much sense wearing one casually around town.

    What are you wearing today??

I like that jacket a lot! I believe it was referred to as the officers mackinaw coat. Is it supposed to only have 3 buttons?
