The original Mafia is one of the best video games ever made, probably some of the most realistic car physics in a game too. The writing was great and the main character was relateable. Mafia II was a real let down. $60 for a game that had half of its side missions cut out for DLC. The whole...
For those who like hats with REALLY big ribbons. I have a similar hat from the same period made by ADAM. A nice alternate bold style.

Seller says it's from the '50s but it has the pre-1949 Union Tag.

It also seems a little longer than the average early '30s style, at least in comparison to a jacket I have from 1933. Then again, not every suit maker was entirely up to date, or the customer wasn't into following trends.
As my friend would say "It gives it character". I wouldn't be surprised if this sold for over $80, I've seen vintage caps in worse shape sell for that price.
I do know that thick rugged looking rubber soles definitely date back to the 1930's. I've seen two examples of them, one pair worn by a Hollywood tour guide and another by the famous animator Ub Iwerks. I would imagine they were more popular on the West Coast due to the more "casual" atmosphere.
I'm not 100% certain that it's authentic 1930's, but it has pretty tall crown.

The moths really feasted on this beauty, but it's still a nice example of a pre-WWII cap.

I tend to like the look and feel of leather soled shoes, but being a New Yorker I walk everywhere so I tend to save my leather soled shoes for either very nice days or formal occasions. Rubber soles also last longer which is good if you don't have the budget to take shoes to the cobbler. While...
Even comes with an news article regarding the suit circa 1967.

An early example of what would be known as "atomic fleck".
