#2 - Dobbs Shantung Panama - Rhet. This appears to be a later, inexpensive model, but there is something about it that is quite appealing to me. It was a little wrinkled but responded well to steam. -

Thank you kindly! I was on the rebound from losing a black OR that went sky-high, and I was amazed that this one had no competition. It is a high quality hat and I am enjoying it. It is a bit tight but as I wear it I can feel it forming to my head and loosening up. -

As creased when I received it - about 5 3/4”, 6” open crown. Brim is 3 1/8”. I didn’t like the tall crown on my head, so I took it down to 4 1/2”. The felt is firm and dense, but this was a dry crease. -
