    Ebay scam

PayPal and eBay was always going to be a marriage made in Hell and the financial services should never have allowed it to happen. Just too many rules protecting the two working together. But yes it's easy to use as a buyer but since the removal of negative comments from the sellers, both eBay...

    Ebay scam

I saw that, the only reason I had no interest was it has the button pockets. Here's another scam I think. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262709721242?euid=b277b7b313fd498eb45fc7a63ad9681e&bu=42960217761&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu The jackets look superb for the price till you see the photo shop label. Any...

It finally got cold enough for my N3B to make sense

it is nice to hear about a bit of original kit being used like this. I had a very early N3B too, fully zipped it was ideal for frosty windy weather going in to work by train and foot. :)

What was the last TV show you watched?

Rillington Place: A 3 parter about the murders by John Christie at 10 Rillington Place, London during the 1940s-50s. Not as scary as the Richard Attenborough portrayal in his film. Maybe the TV people don't think we can't take realistic horror these days, the scene where Attenborough's Christie...

AVI Leather seal A-2 Jacket Review (pic heavy)

A nice jacket, don't know what you paid but if it's an entry level, well we need more like that for those who are not into the total WWII replica market. yes the knits are not that authentic but if ok for now then a possible replacement in the future would raise this up no doubt. Like this...

Irvin book. Has anyone read it?

Hi Andrew, be honest and let us all know if it's any good or rubbish please. They say never buy a book by going by the cover. I once read a life story of a motorcycle despatch rider in WWI. Yes he was a despatch rider in WWI and survived a pretty cushy(for him) war, nothing exiting, daring, or...

Irvin book. Has anyone read it?

Saw this on the dreaded bay and wondered if anyone had read it? Not much to go by the sellers description as they don't specialise. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sky-High-Irvin-History-of-a-Parachute-Pioneer-Hearn-Peter-Hardback-Book-The-/391563609174?hash=item5b2b028456:g:xD0AAOSwpLNX-q5z Note: if...

    Armoured Aero Leathers Café Racer

Historically correct tip. Do away with the accent over the é. Only hipsters sipping a cappuccino while checking their iPod ride Café racers. Rockers ride Kaffffff racers drink tea and know how to fix them when they go wrong. Nice jacket by the way ;)

Anyone familiar with Japanese leather brand Orgeuil? Very nice...

Thats the hair off his chest. if people get pullovers made from dog fur why to weave you rug and put it to good use. A lot of retro bike(Think Triumph) promotional stuff has men with these beards. None of them smile. Is it illegal to smile when trying to look cool or ride a motorbike?

Anyone familiar with Japanese leather brand Orgeuil? Very nice...

I think that 'style' of beard looks a bit like some kind of 'in vogue' beard if you get my meaning. Not a natural beard looking beard. A younger persons style rather than the more filled out body shape like I have :p I have always want to visit Japan some day, not top but certainly Tokyo is on...

    Show Us Your OVERCOATS

Theoretically it's called an overcoat as it is meant to go over something be that a blazer or suit. i have just had a bespoke tailor(not an alteration specialist in a dry cleaners) shorten and take in the sleeves of an old coat. He asked me if I wore a suit or would it be just normal clothing so...

Tale of Two Barnstormers from the 30s

Love both of those Stormers, and especially the way you don't mind the outdoor 'Action' shots rather than cosying up indoors in the warmth. Well that's what they were meant for :)

    Aero leather samples comparison

My personal view here. I just bought an Aero jacket in Vicenza. Though I never had a sample I did see a jacket at the factory made using Vicenza(The Blizzard) Having had a Front quarter horse Highwayman I knew roughly what that skin was like wet, dry, warm or cold, and knew it would be too heavy...

    Another Aero Bootlegger thread...

I am a big fan of natural coloured fleece, got it on my Thunderbay(see post) and though it looks fine on my black Vicenza I think a contrasting brown/ginger would go better with this.

Dehen 1920 biker sweaters. Club zip.

I am really surprised that Harley Davidson and Indian appear to be not interested in a potential big sale here. There is definitely a market for a 100% replica of those woollen racing sweaters with the Chenille lettering rather than just a printed logo in a man made fabric. If not make it...

Dare to Dream: Your "Ultimate" Leather Jacket

With VW's everyone says 'No Worries'. Have they had a lobotomy or something? I had a gutless wonder 1600 camper. It blew up on number 3 pot. "They often go on that one" my VW enthusiast mate told me. "I wish you had told me that and I would have bought a Ford Transit so I would not be 'Worried'...

Dare to Dream: Your "Ultimate" Leather Jacket

I had a look at Eastmans more 'authentic'(compared to the older version) cape skin A1 at the pop up shop, also the Air Comfort. Good job I did, now I know not to buy either even second hand. Nothing wrong with the or the fit just neither is my taste in leather.

Dare to Dream: Your "Ultimate" Leather Jacket

With it's quilted stitching that looks a bit 1970s, but with a D. Lewis label and button closure I am guessing 1930s?
