    Rmc/tmc 30s style aviator jacket size 38/40

Thanks! It's a great jacket, but I need to make room for the incoming Herc. Have too many black jackets. Especially with the Herc incoming, I know I won't wear this even though it's amazing.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

@NCF it's a little long for my taste as well, but not horribly so. It fits so well everywhere else that it's still worth keeping.

    Ideal location/climate for leather jackets

For us, fall/spring is from mid-October through almost the end of June. It's pretty nice. The low humidity helps a lot.

    Ideal location/climate for leather jackets

This shows why I put socal as higher on the list than people would think. Here in OC/LA I get 8-8.5 months of leather jacket weather per year. Not humid and never too cold.

Footwear to go with our jackets

That tool is awesome. I'd use it even if I didn't need to.

    Rmc/tmc 30s style aviator jacket size 38/40

Up for sale is my 20 plus year old and quite rare rmc/tmc 1930s style cross zip aviator jacket. It's made with vegetable tanned tea core horsehide and almost none of the tea core is showing through yet. The lining is undamaged and the jacket is in amazing condition. It is labeled as Toys...

Good quality but affordable first leather jacket

I'd suggest going used and searching locally within Europe to get the best deals. Used Vansons, Aeros, and some good vintage stuff is available in that price range.

Yeah that one could not be any more perfect. Well done. Can't improve from that.

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I agree. It's definitely not as bad as a Fine Creek or a couple other Japanese brands. That's why I said I've seen modern schotts look good on some people. There are some brands that don't make a jacket that looks good on anyone. I suppose I have to accept that it's at least partly my fault for...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

Are you talking about the first or second jacket? I posted 2 different ones. I agree that the second jacket looks good on me (aside from the sleeve length), but the issue is that I can't move in it at all.

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I always find issues with construction on Schotts I handle. It's not just low stitch count. I know the difference. My proportions are even more extreme than yours if I remember correctly. And I'm not even the most extreme. Like I said, I've seen Schott jackets fit tall, skinny people well...

    Decent A2

I would agree. Going used is better if you have the patience.

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

The waist isn't the issue. It's the chest. But yeah, the sleeves are way too long. Body is too.
