Both construction quality and pattern. Poor stitching quality especially. The patterns still are too long and too skinny in the chest. They look atrocious on me especially. I know a lot of people like Schott so I don't want to be too rude, but I could never see myself paying money for a modern...
That Schott is really gorgeous, but even 1k is a lot for a Schott IMO. I went to their store in New York this summer and their MiUSA stuff still disappoints me
That's at least a third guy gone then because neither of the two guys I mentioned went there. One is Masa and he does boot repairs in Germany now and the other is now doing Aristocrat and Co.
Love the detailed review @Marc mndt . It'd sad to see Clinch regress so much, but I've seen too many examples of their backside. My older pairs are far superior. They lost the guy who did the uppers on my two custom pairs from 2017 and the guy who used to do the hand welting too at the very...
That may also be because nobody in their right mind would think you were anywhere near 45 years old...
Although I agree that the whole age thing with leather jackets is stupid. If your whole outfit is cohesive and everything fits well, you'll look great no matter the age.

Yup you are absolutely right! That is partly why I am all in on vintage jackets now and mostly done with repros. I do think my Freewheelers Bodie fits in pretty well with the actual vintage jackets especially compared to other repro jackets. That said, aside from an A2, I'm going to mostly stick...
Yeah I think I'm going to have to soak mine as well. Most of the leather feels broken in and pliable, but the sleeves are tough. Thanks for the advice!
