I was on Brick Lane the other day, Levisons had a 1940s suit jacket, single breasted, peak lapels, grey with blue/shades of grey elaborate pinstripes. Very timeless cut with no exaggerated trendy features. Size 40/42, £120.
It fit me, but the price struck me as a bit hefty for an orphaned...
I'm in awe of some of your combinations TT. very expressive.
My favourites:
Herringbone tweed jacket/yellow shirt/blue-yellow tie
grey-blue pinstripe jacket/blue paisley bowtie
light blue tweed jacket/brown shirt/orange tie
The yellow shirt is really lovely.
Great look in the first picture. The octagonal caps seem to have been most popular in France, but it definitely works with your look.

Sorry about that to those who were watching them! They are back up now. :)

Great jacket. I'm surprised that the black/grey herringbone tweed is so underused, it is probably the most understated and 'city appropriate' style there is.
rather unusual but inspired pattern matching there Fastuni.
Yes!! That is my daily cap. Mine is in a light grey thick flannel. The tall snap brim ones look nice too, if less wide.
Delivery is £10. Try the .com version of their page, it is in English.
As to knowing what works, in surplus sites or otherwise, the answer is research. If you like the...
The ones I was selling were actually by the British brand Olney. :)
Sterkowski is the Polish brand, they have a large vintage looking cap, it comes in a couple of different flannels or tweed. It works perfectly for me, a simple round cap.
Another good cap maker is MamieBlues Paris...
