Some nice finds, Two Types. I am very envious of the flecked model. Beautiful jacket, patch pockets, even. Those are very difficult to find in larger sizes. Congrats!!

really like the cord and white linen TT !

The linen was a lucky find from the shop in Bournemouth (under £20). I was amazed that the cord jacket didn't go higher. BK said he'd only ever seen one other 1930s British cord jacket - and that's one in his own collection.

The best of my recent finds hasn't been photographed yet: silk summer jacket, 1920s or earlier.

Nice one Dinerman, I bid on that one but didn't end up winning unfortunately.

Two Types, my God! what a great selection.
Often I find brown cord jackets a bit stuffy looking, but this one really suits you.
By the way, check Baron Kurtz's blog, he has posted about his.
The tweed one is pretty much my ideal 'everyday jacket', similar to Jean Gabin's in La Bete Humain:

Man, TT those are some great finds. The cord especially fits you very well. That tweed looks a lot like the tweed suit I posted awhile back. Any info on the maker? Can't wait to see the silk jacket!

This could have easily been too much, but the masterful use of soft shoulders tone it down just enough to make it striking without being garish.
