Still off work and shlepping around in jeans tshirt and jacket. I will try to make more of an effort for NYE, but for now I’m just enjoying how a good leather jacket gives life to otherwise a very ordinary outfit.
I think it would still be pretty boxy on me. A Size 38 is supposed to have a 21.25” chest so if it also drops 1” at the waist that would be around a 20” opening.
Great review. I’ve always liked the look of these so good to read a genuine appraisal. For me, the flat colour is rather appealing. The rest I could live with but that wide bottom opening would be a deal breaker. Now I know to take jacket this off my list. Thanks!
I play a lot of 80s post-punk/indie/goth stuff and the chorus peddle is essential for all that. A Capo also helps get that jangly sound. I’ve been thinking about getting a Fender Jaguar (entry-level Squire or Player) to really nail that sound, but I need to remind myself I’m really not good...

Any custom maker discussed in this thread (like Aero and Field) will give you whatever pocket configuration you want. of you like the look of the stock Pacific and want one that fits you, then look st the Ridley/Slim MC from Aero or something like the Field that I had made. Look at some of these...
Two weeks of very light wear on this BB Vic. I definitely see some warm brown undertones when it’s in sunlight and next to something pure black. The creasing is just beautiful and the grain is just starting to pop. It really is a spectacular hide.
