The food looks great! My maternal grandmother used to do a full spread too. I can only manage the ozoni and oden from a pack at the Japanese market. It was so hectic when I was doing my shopping that I forgot the kuromame. I always grab some tazukuri though, most of the rest of my family was not...
funny you should mention that, I saw a dude wearing what I assume to be a Goorin bros flat brim at the theater the other day when I went to see Spiderman. We were in one of the fancy new theaters with recliners, so the spacing was such that it was unlikely to actually be an obstruction. But it...
Art borrowed that from the original Knox. I can't seem to recall whether or not a vintage Knox was being replicated or if it was just based off the ad...
Quick anecdote about hat etiquette: as you do in Barcelona, my friend and I went to La Sagrada Familia this summer. They have airport-like security with metal detectors and xray for bags. On the way in, on the wall there was a pictograph sign of a hat coming off a head. I pretty much expected...
No hat pic today (HJ Raiders poet was the choice). Just wanted to pop in before the day was up to say merry Christmas to all the folks on the lounge who celebrate. Hope everybody had a festive day!
What's your end game? If you want a block, Randal Alan has a BOP profile block that looks pretty good to me. If you want the number for the sake of it, well....
Hot take: I am agnostic on the BOP style hats we see pop up here in the lounge. To the best of my knowledge, we have never seen a hat...

Trying to ID specific models is hard. The block number in and of itself isn't particularly helpful, because as Brent points out, the #51 was used in multiple hats. Our best guesses at model names are usually derived from period catalogs which describe dimensions. Take note of the open crown...

The blocks they are using for the Raiders...
I haven't seen this hat in person, but I'm pretty sure the hat in the Delmonico pic has bad lighting. If I had to guess, I would expect it to be closer to the Stetson pic than the Delmonico pic.
Look at their photo of the Pure Open Road:
Assuming one Pure beaver felt in Alabaster is the...
