Hi - it was about a month between placing the order and them contacting me for the initial check - it varies from order to order tbh, so I would not worry yet if you just placed the order a week ago. Mine is currently in the finishing stage so I can report back on the full timeline when it arrives.
I have the Lewis Western in their racing green vegtan sheep - its a great jacket and the perfect combo of hide and pattern in my view….that said, I have an Aero in their new chocolate goatskin roughout in production, so will be able to compare and contrast soon!
I would try loosening the side straps - when pulled in tight on this model they tend to create a ballooning effect, unlike when they are positioned higher on the jacket as in halfbelts. The low sidestraps when pulled tight like this are likely accentuating the middle bulge - loosen them up a...
New FL incoming - should arrive later this week - esentially an aviator crosszip mash up with elemts of my previous two orders and a few new tweaks - eg the buttoned pocket etc. it has the new sleeve rotation too, so will compare and contrast with the others….this is in the Italian brown...

I ranked these three blind and came to the same conclusion - the Regius is a clear winner, the Eastman this time is the weakest offering - in fact the collars alone would lead to this same ranking imo! Other details reinforce that - the Regius handwarmers and stitching around them are superb...
Eastman for me - nothing is off and for example the chest pocket placement and proportions in particular gives it the edge…for the money the 5 star is great value though
Yes - its is new (to me - do not know if the hide is new to Aero) - there is a small upcharge for this leather - £40 I think - it has a really nice patina and texture to it and is v soft to wear. I don't know if it a lighter/thinner fleece than their standard offerings - that is the case with...
A couple of new additions - both custom orders from Aero - a Coastal Command Irvin in their pebbled merino shearling and a Shackleton with leather back in tobacco badalassi. Really delighted with these and already breaking in v nicely - the badalassi grain is emerging and the typical “wavy”...
