Three new arrivals landed today - still too hot to wear them for now, unfortunately! A Y2 belted horsehide coat, a B7 shearling and a Freewheelers aviator coat in deerskin….roll on the colder weather!
These might appeal? Aero Wayfarer with mouton lining and collar. Badalassi outer, but I suggest switching to goat if you want more water resistance….these are relatively slim fitting so I wear with just a shirt or t shirt - if things get any colder then I switch down to my Irvin and ANJ4….
Leave it alone and wear it as much as possible - the fit will improve further still once you give it a chance to mould to your body. Then check back, but I would not touch it if I were you - you will get minimal / negligible improvements but with a high chance of ruining it….litte point in...
I also get a lot of use out of mine - I went for a full leather version, minus the back strap - in tobacco badalassi…works v well with a Henley, t-shirt etc - also I wear it over my A1 occasionally too - very versatile and the pockets are v handy. Will order another in goatskin soon…..
This is great news! Badalassi is a fantastic addition - I would love one in olive or even one of the more out there petrol shades - the nappa lux option gets my vote!
I always order custom Aeros with a larger chest pocket deep enough to hold my phone - the default is too small to be useful. I never use handwarmers - and increasingly find them an annoyance if they cannot be zipped - not a fan of the flaring that often happens with them and the position often...
Yep - that pocket is all over the shop - maybe its going to be flogged under the USP of “authentic artisanship”. You can tell its hand-made, because no machine could screw it up in the same way….or something like that….
Yes - I wear it a fair bit in the warmer months - it is a v different leather from the sheep - it takes more breaking in than their sheep, which is v comfortable straight out of the box, but it is not heavy nor as stiff as FQHHCXL for instance. The LL coloured jackets are really aiming at a...
I actually have both the types you mention - great jackets but chalk and cheese - you cannot go wrong with LL in my view - I really like the veg sheep, it is a very classy leather….and their coloured jackets are great too - I think they have the very best patterns of all the brands I have too...
