Kilroy: Pinetree, I'd like to make Angels 10 on the way back to the 'drome. Am I cleared to that? Over.

Pinetree: Horseback Leader, you are cleared to Angels 10. Over.

Kilroy: Thank you Pinetree. Out.

*As Kilroy ascends through 5000feet his engine starts to sputter, stops, then oil coats the windscreen.*

Kilroy: Pinetree, this is Horseback Leader declaring a mayday. Over!

Pinetree: Horseback Leader, are you experiencing a problem? Over.

Kilroy: Pinetree, engine failure, oil on windscreen, I'm suddenly in a very inefficient glider. Any other stupid questions? OVER!

Pinetree: Good luck Horseback Leader, over.

Kilroy: A lot of bloody good you are...

KARR: If you can't hit the heart, anywhere in the chest region will do. To drive, I'll control power, you just steer. Turn the wheel left to go left, right to go right. Please press the flashing button labeled "Pursuit Mode" now. *button labeled "Pursuit Mode" lights up*

Apologies for the outburst--this is my first mission anywhere uptime of 1985. I keep forgetting that uptime people and twenty-first century technologies do have a "learning curve." Don't worry, I'll talk you through it--and if you get completely lost, just press the button marked "Auto Cruise". *Auto Cruise button lights up*

"Wait! I can't steer and put this huge needle in DBs heart! I can only do one thing at a time. And frankly I don;t think I can put this needle in Db anyways. I hate needles......."

*groans, reaches over to grab syringe and rams it into own chest before passing out again*

Upon seeing DB stick himself with the large syringe, I promptly pass out.

*Talking to self* Drat! I can barely see out of this windscreen. It looks like a road down there. Maybe I can put this kite down on the road if I'm lucky. The prop went into flat pitch when it lost the oil, so I'm coming down like a rock. Do I have enough air pressure to get the gear down?
*Cycles the gear lever, and sees lights on the instrument panel indicate down and locked*
Well, at least one thing is going right for me. What's this? Is that a car speeding down the road? Come on, get off the road!
*The Spitfire barely overtakes the car and Kilroy flares for a nice three-pointer, all things considered (You thought he was going to dump it, huh?)*

Whew! That was close!

*Jumps out of the plane, just to see KARR come screeching to a halt in front of him*

KARR: Kilroy, get in, fast--DB's dying, and we must get him back to Hangar 18's surgical suite ASAP.

"We probably should get into the car. DB is not too well from hte explosion. We have to get him to a hospital.(to kilroy in a whisper) beware the car talks!Its like something from a pulp rag!"

A talking car? Uh, okay. *Gets in car* I still can't figure out most of DB's technology. I don't know where he comes up with it. By the way, is there any chance that wreckage you're towing might be what remains of my Aston Martin?

As for where all this technology comes from--well, when you consider that my chassis won't be built until 1985 and my core processor was first brought online in December 2008...

Uh, KARR... I'll let you drive. You seem to be doing a good enough job of it. I've never seen an auto like this, and I'm not sure what all those controls are for.
Samantha, that IS, or should I say WAS my Aston? Oh Lord, and it still wasn't fully paid for yet.
