Well, I got problems. Just checked in, the Hangar's been emptied except for my two aircraft, my entire support team has been recalled home. Seems I would've generated too much paradox, so I have to live with what I've got or can scavenge...

Bear in mind, Kilroy, I have my own mission, which only touches on yours through a possible common target...

They left me my P-61, my guns, and a piece of rotorcraft I can't let be seen for forty years. Blackout's the only one left from my time and my side, and that's apparently because they figure the machine's as "renegade" as it's creator... "Wrench" also left me a note that he suspects a Zebra Team may be headed our way--trust me, that's very bad news for us and our targets alike.

Got some antipersonnel mines I can borrow? I'm thinking, since I know where they'll be entering your time through, set up an ambush and whack 'em just as they come through the Portal, about the same warning and the same chance they'd give us.

And that means things just got even more expensive, since I don't have cash shipments from HQ to finance my operations.

My business is Temporal Enforcement--preventing others from tampering with history; my target is trying to alter history so that Germany wins the war. It gets even worse: if not stopped, the ripples from his changes could destroy time itself...

Now, got some ideas for that ambush? If even one member of that team survives, you and your dear saboteur sweetie are as dead as I am...

The '61 I'm not worried about anyone seeing--it at least looks "believable" to 1940s eyes, but something that looks like an autogyro pumped up to eighty feet long exceeds the credibility limit for your technology.
