Ahh, Mr. Kilroy, just in time. Would you prefer to bring your plane over here, or help me move the gear over to it? Looks like Blackout's grounded due to Paradox Effect, so I could use a hand moving his "brain" over to his new "host", also.

What do you think of my ride? P-61C Black Widow, won't officially enter even experimental production for another three years. Standard would have four Hispano 20mm cannons and a quad-.50, powered by a pair of 2100hp R-2800 Double Wasps.

Mine, though, is a little better--cannons are 40mm Bofors, and the engines are R-4360-51 Wasp Majors, won't even start trials for another five years. Should be able to leave your Spits way behind in level flight, and with the new spoilers I should be able to outmaneuver it too...

Yes, and it was quite difficult! It took all of my being to get away, but I did. And the stolen steaks are why! I wouldn't dare cross "The Reaper", much less partake of ill-gotten booty (not that kind of booty - this is a family show).

Good show DB, what a kite! Do you think the chaps here in you "skunk works" can do something for my Spit? I understand the new "Gem Mods" (modifying the engine to take 150 octane) are due to be implemented sometime in the next months, but if your guys can get that done for me soon I'll be able to keep right up...:cheers1:

Fur is a little problematic when I come from, but diamonds and most other gems have been successfully synthesized and are thus plentiful. As for more, ever imagined what a sunrise would look like from space, or seeing the Earth come up from the darkside of the Moon?

Wait a minute, "endangered furs" isn't a problem when you have a time-machine... but abusing office equipment for personal use is. I'm probably going to have all kinds of fun with Sector 7 when I go back as it is...

I'm already running 150 and beyond myself on this big beast, and I'm thinking about bolting on two of those new jet engines in place of a couple of the drop-tanks for a further boost.

Electronic fuel-injection, paired with 150 (sorry, can't give you any of my little "octane booster" mix) oughtta give you both more power and better range. You'll sip gas once we get this in, compared to how you gulp it now...
