I quit smoking nine years ago this month.

NINE YEARS!

I started smoking when I was 13. I smoked Parliaments at first because that's what Holden Caulfield smoked in Catcher in the Rye. Then I moved onto Marlboro reds, more than a pack a day, because that's what the rockers smoked*. But, of course, I was addicted to smoking & nicotine at a young age.

I once quit for four years then started again so this is the longest I have gone.

I am so happy I do not smoke today!

*Pre-square days.

For myself, this has been my 5th year of quitting and each year I make it a point to celebrate. Like yourself I started at the age of 13 and had been smoking Camel Regular then to Lights towards the end.
