My dear, sainted mother was born on this date in 1925, and was very fond of martinis. So on this date, we celebrate her life by going out for martinis. So Happy Martini Day, friends. If you are so inclined, have some gin-soaked olives and think of old Ruby T.

I take em even dryer now then ever. As in dry as a bone. If i could i would tip a couple for her and i’d wear a black Hommy for your Mommy.

Today.....this ones kinda like yesterday’s Stagecoach except:
1. It’s not modern
2. It’s old as dirt
3. It’s my best Col. Eli McCullough from “The Son”series hat. (Good series by the way)
Kind of a Hommy for your Mommy on steroids. No martinis were harmed during this post.
Oh yeah, Lion Hat. Worst sweatband ever, very nice hat body.

According to Brad Bowers, they were advertised between '59 and '61, so not a long lived model. I've only seen this one.
It's light as a feather and as cool to wear as it is to look at!
