I need (want) to get me a derby / bowler. That one looks amazing! I'd like a brown one in what is described as a "Western Bowler". This is one Nathaniel's Hatters does here in my area. serious hat envy! lolAbout to take a stroll in my ca.1920s John B. Stetson Bowler. Have a good Sunday fellow loungers.

Nice hat and nice backyard, Ken. The term yard doesn't do it justice though. Many would love a garden like that. Cudos.Morning yard duty in a sloped cattleman (mini-gus). Morning yard duty is a cup of coffee with a little bit o Irish. Pup pup and I walk Gods little half acre seeing what critters may have dug up or tipped over, refill the bird baths and feeders for all the wildlife that visits during the evening. Check on the foliage and maybe pull a few weeds, then sit under the Palapa for a spell and enjoy the morning coolness.

Thanks, Ken. There is something special about a Bowler. I like the colour combo on the Nathianiel's Hatters' western one. You should go for it.I need (want) to get me a derby / bowler. Thanks Scott.Outstanding hats gentlemen!
It does have a great colorI really like this one, Michael. The colour and the felt get me every time.
Great parade of hats again, Jeff. The colour combo of that last one is very interesting.
Just fantastic, Ken.
Once again a stellar lineup of hat, Stefan. It has been pointed out to me that I don't seem to wear many thin-ribboned hats. Guilty as charged (don't know why)
, but I do have some.

Yeah, I love Nathaniels stuff, I have a couple....he is a true perfectionist, but he is also one of the most expensive and sought after hatters around here with a mimimum 1 yr waiting list. At $950 for the pure beaver.....I think I will just admire taht one from afar. I may have to see about contacting that Tatton Baird gentleman in Utah and see what he can do, I sure love the one I just got second hand from him. Thanks, Ken. That sounds great, Ken. Good on you and the Mrs [emoji4]Thanks Steve.
We're "semi-retired". Our yard is our santuary. We applied to the State and had the backyard certified as a natural habit for wildlife. Basically just means we use no hazardous fertilizers or chemicals, no invasive species of plants, use mostly native plants, and provide plenty of water, food, and nesting materials for the critters that visit. And we get lots of critters for pup pup to chase.
That's definitely the right special hat to wear on your special day, Jim. I like the sound of Martini Day.Happy Martini Day! Why is it Martini Day, you ask?
My dear, sainted mother was born on this date in 1925, and was very fond of martinis. So on this date, we celebrate her life by going out for martinis. So Happy Martini Day, friends. If you are so inclined, have some gin-soaked olives and think of old Ruby T.
Nurse, mother, Howard's wife, and Pansy and William's little girl.
Honoring Mom at church under America's Finest Hat. This pristine Homburg was a generous gift from a fellow Lounger.
A Hommie for my mommy...

Have you seen @bowlerman 's western bowler he recently picked up? I think it's one of the best looking western bowler's I've seen and I'm pretty sure it wasn't $950.... I can't remember where he got his at, but it was while he was on a trip, visiting a bunch of places... including a great hat shop! No, not a bowler, I got an Open Road style "Country Gentleman" from him a couple weeks ago off the "bay"
