Cooler temps prevailed the last couple of days.

A green Knox Vagabound is a grand unlined hat.

A Lee Adventure unlined was the hat choice for a dog walk and dog soiree.

Chores in a VS fedora. This ha is a dove beaver felt with a thin ribbon treatment inspired by the Stratoliners.

A vintage Stetson Playboy was a grand choice for a hardware store errand.

Nice shape and colours, Perry. I find hats in that colour scheme difficult to wear though for some reason.

Visited the Edam yearly flea market with it (no hats to be found):

Changed into the Huber's panama

Today was head time for the Penumbra panama

There are a few tartans anyone can wear, the black watch among them (how cool is that?!). And you can always have one designed for you (even cooler!).

Thank you, steur! Yeah, hand sewing is way too tedious for me. Wearing three pairs of reading glasses while looking through a magnifying glass, two bright lights, and dealing with back issues to boot, has convinced me that a sewing machine will be much better on me for doing brim bindings.
