Thanks Steve. I think it's been four or five years that I've been taking daily clothes photos. I had a bit of built up burnout. Ha ha.

yup! I know that feeling all too well. the older I get the less I can tolerate heat and humidity. looking forward to autumn. glad you are well and just had a case of the "I just don't feel like it!" lol!

Thanks Edward. Yes, I agree. Heat and humidity does get less tolerable with age. Today it is close to perfect here, in my mind. Low 70s, cloudy, nice breeze, low humidity = Heaven.

I finally finished the size up and rebuild on this Beaver Brand '10X Quality' Western, (Band block by Rockwater and Rounding Jack by Rick @ Phoenix Hat Company).

No more hand sewing brim bindings. I'll be using a sewing machine for all my future brim bindings

I have to wait for better lighting before I can get good pictures of this hat and bow work...

Cooler temps prevailed the last couple of days.

A green Knox Vagabound is a grand unlined hat.

A Lee Adventure unlined was the hat choice for a dog walk and dog soiree.

Chores in a VS fedora. This ha is a dove beaver felt with a thin ribbon treatment inspired by the Stratoliners.

A vintage Stetson Playboy was a grand choice for a hardware store errand.

I've worn a few kilts in my time. Was told if it sits below the knee it's a kilt, above the knee it's a skirt......hmmmm, I think I see some knee there.

A skirt should even further divert conversation from your hat, then!

I have another kilt, also a "utilikilt", but heavier and more carefully measured, from a source that also sells tartan kilts at more than one price point.
I believe the length measurement was taken to the center of the knee.
This inexpensive, lightweight one is perhaps a wee bit short.
