My next to eldest daughter is Air Force. A pilot. Recently signed on for another ten spot. Appreciate all those that do and have served.

Having a daughter pilot for the Air Force must make you very proud, Rumad. Welcome to the FL! Now that you’ve come out of the closet. [emoji16]

Nice hat!
My unit was getting packed up to go to that shock and awe affair, but got canceled when it was over in a week. Disappointed back then, but kind of glad now.
Glad you came back to us, Hector!
Played contemporary Grass on stages for over twenty five years, (much of it having bluesy sounds) had a great time, but now all I do is listen. Arthritis getting worse.
It’s not so bad I couldn’t install a new Bluetooth car stereo in my truck yesterday. Now I can listen to the Flatt Lonesome band, New Found Road and many others on Pandora! Love it!!!!
Installing stereos in a vehicle is much easier since having DIY videos. How did we ever get along before without YouTube?

Thanks Randall! That was my second deployment in 4 years, my first one was Just Cause to get Noriega. I loved the military!

That hat is fantastic Jim. Just saw one on eBay last night. Not in my wallets near future. Really like it.

That's been up for a few months. I thinke he wanted $1200 initially. They're great hats and rare, but not worth a grand. Hell, no hat is IMHO.

Jim, are those felts any nicer than, say, Number Ones, or vintage Borsalinos? Because it sure looks nicer from here.

I can't speak to the No. 1s as I've never handled one. Similarly, I seem to repel Borsas as I have only found one.

I will say it is a very nice felt and near the top of my collection. Dense and light, but not tissue-light. It does have a great hand to it, though. A pleasure to handle.

Work gets in the way of a lot of things! Glad you have a hat to keep you company.

Go, Air Force!! I did 7 years and should’ve stayed in. Liked it, but it got in the way of passion.
I love Bluegrass shows!
However, it has no retirement value.
Nice jacket, BTW. Enjoy your retirement!Wyld. View attachment 205017
I have to put down more pre finished flooring, while wearing a Strat beater.
