Bright sunny morning and in the mid 90s. Since it's Felt Hat Day I decided to wear this Northwest Hat Co. silverbelly with copper ribbon. This is the first time wearing this hat that I shamelessly plagiarized from Doug aka @Tukwila. I would feel bad about it if I didn't like it so much. BTW I will be switching back to straw this afternoon.

It's not plagiarism, Bill. You were inspired by Doug's fine lid. Imitation is the best form of flattery [emoji4]. The FL is a great place to be inspired.

Very nice, Max. Does the felt have a green tint? I see you’re wearing a jacket...did the mercury drop below 80? ;)

Yes, it does Brent. It looks a lot greener in the shade. It is a freezing 74 degrees, but sunny.

The jacket is in case we don't return home before going to the Día de la Independencia celebrations. It is supposed to be in Sept. 16, but all around the country the celebrations are on the night of the 15th, and most parties end early the next day. When I was a kid drunkenness was allowed in the streets, but it sadly is no more.

Starting on Sept. 1st everyone puts flags on their cars and homes, and my golf club is no exception. I think they overdid it this year. It is empty now, but in a few hours it will be packed, with LOUD music and fireworks.

I like it. Nothing wrong with patriotism. Just be careful that you don’t end up with frostbite or hypothermia.

The No. 1 is a great shade too.

Since I can't drink tequila anymore because of my irritable bowel syndrome, both are a real possibility.

Temperature got up to 96 so a Brooks Brothers Panama this afternoon. I acquired this Panama from @alanfgag making it extra special. After all, he is world renowned for being a photographer, scholar, hat collector, and all around great guy.

You forgot to mention he has a beautiful, soft voice and excellent diction. Some folks have it all. [emoji35]
