Temperature got up to 96 so a Brooks Brothers Panama this afternoon. I acquired this Panama from @alanfgag making it extra special. After all, he is world renowned for being a photographer, scholar, hat collector, and all around great guy.

I translate the information i got from Francesco Baldi below:

"The hat is from our own brand Baldini and Baldifino (both names coined by my mother, inspired by our last name Baldi). The hat was made in Italia (Monza) by the Vimercati brothers. The felt is made of 100% rabbit hair.
The brim of the hat is finished with a stitching on the brim. The felt is a so-called Portuguese felt and of a very good quality. New value € 149.95"

Yes the Baldi's are dutch based and according to my information they are the owners of Jos van Dijck hatshop in Utrecht (netherlands).
