Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Dat be real nice. The contrasting ribbon and binding colors make for a great look.

Also... yesterday I forgot to give you kudos for the center dent on the Demon Hanover. That worked well. Nice to see you break out of the comfort zone, Diamond Jim.

Well I'm in some great company today. Beautiful hat, Daniele.

Is there an English translation of "Amiata"? I've looked and can not find any literal translation. The only non-product related occurrence of the word I find is the Amiata system of lava dome volcanoes. Monte Amiata in Tuscany is the largest of those.

Might the color be named for that? Volcanic ash is gray. And I do think that I see the color of that hat in this lovely winter photo of Monte Amiata...
Thanks Matt for the compliment
You are completely right. The Amiata is an ancient volcano and the main color is grey like the volcanic ashes, so this color is one of the most used dye in the greys palette in Borsalino production

That is indeed a unique hat Alan. I love it.

Great looking hat Jeff. Is it a conversion or an original fedora?
.
They are both originals. That first one, the beaver brand, came to me open crown and has gone through a few creases over the years. Its 5X felt is slightly rugged and on the thicker side, so it may have a little more of a western look, which is just fine with me!

Might try to get out on the bicycle today if the rain holds off.

Have a good one,
Michael
That one just "spanke"s my eyeballs every time I see it. The green pairs great with the jacket.
Thanks everyone for the comments and likes on my Stetson #1 from yesterday.

I love this hat, it fits right between the Open Road style and westerns and I wear it a lot.

Today it’s a change of pace with my Penman Casablanca.

That's a beauty. The brim stitching really pops out. Cool look.
Love that one. It’s your calling card IMO!

Thanks Jeff. But shouldn't that be calling hat?
