Thanks Matt. Yes, the green band is why I chose it out of the 3 or 4 I tried on. You've been pulling out some big guns lately. Today's Knox is a fine example of a hat. That one just "spanke"s my eyeballs every time I see it. The green pairs great with the jacket.
Dat be real nice. The contrasting ribbon and binding colors make for a great look.
Also... yesterday I forgot to give you kudos for the center dent on the Demon Hanover. That worked well. Nice to see you break out of the comfort zone, Diamond Jim.
Snow + Beachcomber = great juxtaposition. My vintage Stetson Beachcomber doing it's job this morning.
This 30's vintage hat sheilded me from the bright winter sun made brighter reflecting off the snow.
Filling birdfeeders wearing a Well Dressed Cap. The Archer model is made of 30's wool and vintage Egyptian cotton.
Best, Eric -
Snow + Beachcomber = great juxtaposition. What a great hat that is.Sweet cap, too.
Mike, Thanks!Another beautiful liner on that Peschel Steve. So darn black!
Richard, Thank you!Norma is beautiful Steve. great hat
Beautiful all the way around Eric. Very sunny and sand between your toes today! Thanks sir. I picked this hat off my hat rack knowing that I would be able to appreciate the warmth of a mid winter sun this morning. Mid winter sun and relative warmth (38'F) are soul soothing. As to the hat - a fav on my hat rack.
The details of this hat are fun! I volunteer the following pics showing details.

That is such a good looking CD with the brim stitching and ribbon. Good one for the rain!A SBCD in a foggy mist earlier this morning. Just cloudy now but rain in the forecast.

The light/dark interplay with the ribbons, binding and felt is sweet. Great new hat Red.Giving one of the Holland Connection hats a spin today for class in PDX. With a couple of light shims, this Mayser Milz with a cool bow treatment should brave the elements. Still need to do some minor maintenance, clean the sweat, refine the center dent. But I just had to wear one of the new arrivals.

Yes, the clean up is on the books. Our Arborist says it was going to go sometime. Now to figure out some "wet feet" trees to replace them with. The fence guy is coming tomorrow. Thanks Michael. I hope you are doing well post Maple Tree calamity. I lower my head in tribute to the fallen maple this morning. Maples matter.
Can't go wrong with a Penman. Very nice David. Thanks everyone for the comments and likes on my Stetson #1 from yesterday.
I love this hat, it fits right between the Open Road style and westerns and I wear it a lot.
Today it’s a change of pace with my Penman Casablanca.
Cheers!
David
