Couldn't find a band I was happy with and got a vintage ribbon and bow from Scott. Put a simple crease and brim curl on it and wearing it on this cold, blustery day.

Robert, you very well may be correct. I am always looking for info on dating Resistols. There seems to be less information on these than most other major manufactures.

What throws me off is the font on the front of the sweatband and the oil skin liner tip. It is dissimilar to other Resistols I have come across except for the homburg I sent to Matt and another wide ribbon I sold on eBay. The others I own with similar liners do not have the oil skin liner tip and have vastly different font on the front of the sweat. IDK. Its puzzling.

I like a mystery! That oil skin liner cover is certainly a head scratcher.
I always thought that logo style was late 1950's but perhaps it's earlier and used on Resistol's more western styled hats... (?)
