Polaroid big shot of Andy Warhol fame, and long hair grey felt, stingy curled brim. Same crown as yesterday but using the other string groove resulting in a higher crown.

Good job on the crease. I like how it sort of has an arrowhead look to it from the top.

Thanks, HJ. I think I'll try to refine it into that. I had it in the horseshoe or cow hoof? crease, or whatever you call the crease you put in your Woomera because I really like that, only the flat top with the round crown didn't seem to suit me too well. The thing with this felt, it takes water and steam to shape it but it will take just about anything. Not cowboy stiff but dense and thick.

Thanks Kuki. Definitely better with the coat. I do like that cardigan very much though. Very nearly all of my clothes are new to me in the last year or so. Basically since I lost a lot of weight. About a year before I started my diet I had given up on ever fitting into any of my old small clothes so I got rid of them all. Ha ha. I could say bad timing on my part, but acquiring the new wardrobe has been fun. And I use the word new loosely as virtually all of it is from the thrift store.

Your hat today is really nice. I also wanted to mention that I can empathize with your situation with your Mother. After my Grandmother died I moved back to my home area and took care of my Grandfather for a couple of years. It can be a task.

Michael
Well it's always nice to buy "new" clothes after losing weight, I also lost quite a lot. Thank you for your kind comments.

I looked up the word "demure," and here was this photo of you, Christina! Fabulous hat!!
Demure I'm not, got you fooled! ;-)

I see a lot of grand hats on this page. Will have to take a closer look.

Michael
Looking good, I do not blame you layering up, I just checked and your 5 degrees and that's minus fifteen celcius... yikes!

Hey folks!
Expecting a whole lot of rain this weekend, so out I go to stock up on essentials.
Wearing this old G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro &C. while I do.

Have a great day!

Nice "smirky" bow, with one fold going up and the other down, love it!

Super hat Cristina. Very different look from the shorter crown model. And it looks like some great felt too. Fine tile work in the background there.
Thank you Michael, the height does indeed change the look a lot. The tile work is in my mom's kitchen, it's from the Manises in the Spanish province of Valencia, they're renowned for their tile work, it's a kind of wall fountain called "aguamanil", my parents had it commissioned in the late seventies to add it to their kitchen :)

Lots of nice grays there, Kuki. Terrific lid!
Where do you get film for the Big Shot?
Hi @hatsRme the film (pack film) was discontinued by Polaroid a long time ago but continued being produced by Fuji. The bastards (Fuji) discontinued it a few months ago, turning a lot of wonderful cameras into paperweights. We have stocked up, but it can still be found although prices have gone up.
