No wonder they sell them so cheaply.
Hardly seems like a worthwhile purchase now. I'll have to reconsider.

For $90.00 I'd take it without a ribbon. I can't remember if it had a pin. Possibly not but if it did I'd remove it.

Thanks Jack. I was hoping for a bit more of this vibe,

But I guess it would probably be more realistic to shoot for the Big Daddy Don than the Crockett Don given that he and I are about the same age. In any case with the advent of hot weather and bicycle season, knock on wood in light of Chamuco's experience, I'll probably be wearing a lot fewer clothes and a lot more caps for awhile.

Great display of lids this warm and sunny Sunday afternoon. All of you look great.

I don't wear this one much. It's one of those hats that's getting a little hard to find these days. Late '40s Stetson Imperial in Suede Finish...very soft hat.
I'm thinking about trading it.

Great hat my friend! Looks like you have yourself a Stetson Tijuana, which is a Dobbs Gay Prince clone. I have one myself in size 7 1/8, which makes it a tad too small for me. Think I will need to move that one here pretty soon.
