Wore the modern Borso I got from Moon for Sunday services. Goes great with a suitcoat.

Decided on only two hat for the 9 day cruise coming up later this week. This Borso and my Orvis Panama. The Orvis is very comfy and sticks to my head like glue and also does very well when the wind blows. ;)

Stratton Lawman while on a walk in the woods. Added a couple feathers.

I imagine a hat made from local beaver would be very durable. These guys are nothing if not ambitious.

Also found a Lion’s Mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus).

Thought I’d seen a thread what CAP are ya wearing, but it’s not coming up on Tap-a-Talk.

Anyway, After light rain all night and solid downpour rain all morning, God proved He’s a baseball fan and parted the clouds just before game time and it is time for farm club baseball!

Start of the 5th and not a drop of rain has returned (despite the forecast). One more half inning and it will be an official game (though we’re hoping for a full 9 innings.)

What! WHAT! A baseball hat! Quick, turn around twice and spit. I’ll waft some sage smoke over my iPhone to; you can never be too careful with these things.

Borsalino Rogers Peet today.

I sure like that tone of Peet. At least it is not Peat, that would be boggy.

My first Agnoulita. It began life as a lords hat that I never cared for. Today I removed the pencil curl and gave it a new crease.

Looks real good there Jonesy!

The heat caused the felt to be short lived. Akubra Reef in the heat of the day.

Man that straw has a wingspan! Looks like a nice piece.

Beautiful morning, having some great Mexican Atole and enjoying my new Scott & Co before it gets too warm to wear.
It was way too large for me when it arrived, but I was able to shrink it to my size with repeated steam applications, and yes, the hairdrier. It didn't lose its shape, and it fits well now. I dislike how padding feels.

This is a fine piece of English hattery. Glad you dodge a bullet on the steam/sweat issue. Long as you are going English, maybe a classic Bowler would be fun!

My Dobbs West, new shape, flatter brim, new black ribbon.Couldn't bring my self to convert this hat.So here is my 1st try at a Montana pinch.

Very impressive Chuck. That crease is so majestic, just like a mountain.

Campdraft Deluxe;brim was damaged so it has been trimmed to 2 5/8".
It looks good as a stingy Bob.

Thank you.
I think we all agree with your hat choices for your cruise. Its amazing how a couple hats will cover all you’ll do and yet we’ll own 100 and still be on the hunt for more.

Thanks Brent, I decided to leave the true vintage hats at home as they are too hard to replace should things go awry. 1 good general purpose straw & 1 awesome modern charcoal gray Borso should serve me well this trip. Although, I haven't quite hit that "100 Hat" mark quite yet......gimme time. :)
