Excellent look, Daniele!Going for some pizza slices for a quick lunch in office
Flechet especially made for "A. Meer - Strasbourg"
Another "French grey" to go on with the serie
One grey in the moltitude of shades of this color so used in the golden era of the hats
This grey was called "Dolmen" in the Flechet factory and the other indications seem to date this hat from the late fifties, early sixties
Very soft felt with matching pleated ribbon and trim on the brim
European proportions in the brim and crown
White lining and not "special" features for this Flechet
Have a nice day and compliments to all the lounger for the beatiful hats showed.
Buon Lunedì
Two gorgeous looking hats again, Eric. Seems there's no end to your supply of them.Yesterday I wore a vtg.Stetson Viscount while grilling a repast for my wife and I. This vintage back bowed hat has a lovely camel hued felt. Cheers.
This morning out for a dog walk in the new snow wearing a 50's Stetson Playboy. This Playboy has a bigger 2 7/8" brim. The soft felt feels terrific in your hand. The ribbon has some age fade, but overall the hat is minty. A grand Bon Vivant!
Best, Eric -
Fabulous!Merry Monday, tous les monde!!

Thanks Scotty for the always kind words. I think the jacket is older than the hat. I ain’t gettin rid of it!! Nup!Another beauty, Bowen. I gotta say that I like your taste in hats and jackets, fer sure.
Great proportions and wonderful classic look, Justin.40s playboy

One day of sunshine before the rain returns. Light weight felt, Portis "New Slant", mid to late 1950s.
I can't see anything wrong it (literally: I'm colourblind). Didn't really take a close look after I saw that hat though. Breathtaking. Thanks for the well wishes yesterday. Still under the weather here, but had to step out for 30 seconds to test the dictum Karl floated last week about green and blue

The 3" of fresh snow yesterday didn't help by mood. I'm hoping to be recovered enough to get out on the bike by the time it gets to 73 on Thursday. Not counting on it.

Well, who would have guessed? I knew it was large, but I didn't know it ran that large. Never too late to start with a good Mayser, Brent. Looks fine to me.My first Mayser via the kindness of @Redfokker. Mike received the hat from Stefan as part of a trade. It was marked as a size 59 but it was too large for Mike and he generously thought of me. It’s just a bit tight, but I love it and will wear and remember my friends here at the Lounge. The felt is wonderful and the gills are a great touch. It’s also the first hat that made my wife giggle, and that’s a great endorsement.

A great homburg is always approved!Buenos Tuesdee.
Going with the Julius Garfinkel & Co. 1940s (or thereabouts) homburg.
I hope that each of you have a great day.
Lovely; palladio is such a great colour.Borsolino Alessandria (Paladio) morning for a dog walk.
Best, Eric -
Perfection in style from top to toe, Fabio!
Thanks Stefan!Very fine looking panama. John.
Very nice, Jim. I like the organic looking crease.TAR Tuesday and the Dalton thin ribbon.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Trusty is a good description of it, Mike. I like the classic lines of that one.Out for supplies in my trusty Dobbs Twenty. This hat is from the later 1950s, guild edge and Dobbs Coach imprint. A go-to hat for errands and everyday wear. Excellent felt, takes a crease without argument. It needs some head time before straw season.

A beauty!Bucking the TAR trend with this scrumptious Tonak velour. A big hat, it allows a big tilt of the crown and a Capone - ish upcurl of the right brim. Very hard to photograph. View attachment 113862
Merveilleux indeed!Un merveilleux Marseillaise... par Flechet. One from RLK's remarkable NOS discovery some years back.
