Looks pretty standard for a late 40’s embossment. Though not found on every LO from that period so may have been the stores choosing. Good get though, should clean up wonderfully.

The poor Fed Ex Guy just left here ..Hes had a Loooong day... been on the road since 5am, and has 5 more deliveries before he can drive 45 minutes back to the center and go home . Fortunately the delivery drivers around this part of the woods DO make a good effort!

He dropped off a nice little Goodwill Akubra Boomerang. Hat is in really nice shape... AND IT FITS! Its totally coffee shop ready for the morning! I may do just a tad bit of brim reshaping in the next day or so, but its ready to wear as-is. I really like nice clean $12.99 hats!
