Un merveilleux Marseillaise... par Flechet. One from RLK's remarkable NOS discovery some years back.
They are fabulous initials, but what do you have against suap, korupsi or gratifikasi? The PJB initials are the ONLY reason why I bid on this hat. They are my favorite initials of all time. Absolutely dreamy...
This is wonderful. Is it pre-war? Very, very rare I'm sure.Un merveilleux Marseillaise... par Flechet. One from RLK's remarkable NOS discovery some years back.
Ha!They are fabulous initials, but what do you have against suap, korupsi or gratifikasi?
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find good gratifikasi? And suap...just never mind. Haters gonna hate.

If I had bothered to Google them I'd probably be against them too.Ha!
Hmmm... I do have an aversion to jail. I guess that's one thing I have against them.

A gorgeous hat, Brother Justin. What are the colors? I'm seeing taupe, burgundy and cream/beige?Marathon Monday:
It's another good one. I like the way that brim sits. Two things can put a smile on your face while doing what we do best around here......a bright colored muck fork and a good hat Told the wife I could barely walk. She told me I could walk slow and handed me my gloves and coat Must have been wearing my hat around the house in my pajamas that got her all fussy.
That time-machine of yours is running overtime, Justin. Another great find.1930s Turf Club
I like them in blue. Well put together combo Dlaniger!Happy belated Sunday,
Started putting some of the felts away, but the persistent cold weather has slowed my progress.

Mike, thanks! It's a joy to wear too. I admit I'm not very good with beaters and tend to take them out of the hat-genepool altogether. I received two today that had better hopes for than turned up at the doorstep. They did not have redeeming qualities and will go the way of the dodo I'm afraid (not all my purchases are a success). This natural felt is growing on me. I like the tone in the light. Very nice Bill.
Does my heart good to see this classic out and about Fred. You look great in it.
There is a beater thread a couple of pages back. I think the term is now well defined. Need to post this one there.
The color and shape of this Borsalino is fantastic Stefan. It is a real joy to see.
Need to post this one on that thread. It fits the combined definition worked out by you and other scholars.
I like the steel color. I'm in the queue with Mike Miller for a Whippet clone in this felt. Your Gannon is to die for!
Fantastic color and lines. I love the old Adam logos with the top hats. Cool 'Burg John.
Very cool Bob. Interesting profile.
The hat-bug will get hold of you soon....Good morning! From Nova Scotia, Canada. We usually don't get this much snow in April but we had a few inches last night.
First full day with the 50s Stetson Whippet.

That's a good looking felt, Jim. That felted ribbon sets it apart.Snow? Who ordered snow? I didn't order snow. It's April ninth, for Pete's sake!
Oh well, happy Monday. OPS-era Game Bird.

Today it’s a Portis Sterling quality. I thought i’d better post it before i send it off to a guy who really likes it.
As always, your kind words have been appreciated. Thanks
Be well. Bowen
Must have done the old-timer good to be out in the fresh air again. The hat looks fine tooWhen I joined the ICSFHOW (that's the International Confraternity of Stiff Felt Hat Owners and Wearers) back in 2012, I covenanted that I would never go 9 full days without wearing a stiff felt hat.
Since today is the 9th day, I'm taking the c. 1900 vented Dunlap out for a spin.
Happy Monday.
