Looks good on you. Now, on to felt...Today I wore my gray cotton Redhead Safari. Not a vintage hat but it’s one of my favorites in my small collection.

O'Farrell OR clone this morning.
Two great brown Resistols today, we're in luck
I hope the snow and that fine Pilgrim make you bettererThanks for all of the "be well!" wishes yesterday. Whatever I got... it ain't flu. I still feel crummy, but it could be exponentially crummier.
And we have some snow. It's not the sticking kind. But any of what Jim calls the White Death is better than none at all.
Pilgrim.
Relying on its Cushion Comfort and the snow to make me feel betterer.
Happy Tuesday.
Pretty cool to post your first WHAYWT with a Vita-felt STratView attachment 104852 Greetings All:
Some super hats as always friends.Thanks.
My first picture post on WHAYWT. So be gentle. Ha.
Been playing with creases on this Vita-Felt Strat. I actually fired up the steamer. Sure makes a difference!! Duhh.
Be well. Bowen
Great Gannon and amazing shoes EricStarted the day with a trip to the cobbler. I wore a Gannon.
Picked up shoes and espresso.
Wind is now gusting (over 35mph) and I swtiched to a wool cap.
Stopped for a lunch of lobster/corn chowder.
Best, Eric -
Enjoying a wonderful gift from former member Garrett Wonder.

Amazing Alan
Fine looking hat JackStill damp but I'm going to like it. I also reset the mule kick on the front crown a bit. Sand Peble has a bit of sage undertone that doesn't come out in the pics.

Thanks. I’m sure a felt is in my future. I really like the look of the Stetson Stratoliner.Looks good on you. Now, on to felt...
If you do go that route I highly recommend going at least Premier ...Thanks. I’m sure a felt is in my future. I really like the look of the Stetson Stratoliner.
beautyVintage Sovereign Twenty
Really soft and the brim would prefer to stay in this gental curl. Originally sold in Wyoming.

Those Sovereigns are some of the nicer pieces out of the late 50/early 60s such as this pieceVintage Sovereign Twenty

I agree with Anthony @moontheloon response about getting a Premier or better. I bought a Royal Stratoliner last year and sold it after wearing it once. The felt was not much different from a decent wool hat, stitching on the ribbon was awful and it just fit wonky. And with the factory crease the crown is pretty low, make sure you try one on before buying it or the top of your head my be rubbing the inside of the crown.Thanks. I’m sure a felt is in my future. I really like the look of the Stetson Stratoliner.
Nice to know. I would like to wear it more often, but there’s just too much dirty stuff in my lifestyle to keep such a light hat clean. Those Sovereigns are some of the nicer pieces out of the late 50/early 60s such as this piece
they were quite nice in a time when most American manufactured hats hat already turned to $#!£
Interior shot ?Long day at work coming home in a mid 50s Cavanagh. Sorry for poor light quality.
Cheers
What a great color, Steve. The rest of the hat is super, but that color makes it...Extra Qualitat I suppose [emoji6]Rehfus Hutfabriken "Olympia Extra Qualität" probably mid to later 1950s.
I appreciate that, but 2017 was a BAD year for us so for the foreseeable future I can't even afford to pay attention; hats are on the "no buy" list until we get back on our feet. Are hats ever really a choice? I thought it was just a prioritization. What size do you need? I'll keep my eyes open.
I like the way you think. Maybe one of these days.Greetings Z:
Ha ha....both....settled. B
They don't have to be vintage (or expensive) to be favorites. Besides, it looks good on you!Today I wore my gray cotton Redhead Safari. Not a vintage hat but it’s one of my favorites in my small collection.
