Outstanding color! Cool advertisement too.Rehfus Hutfabriken "Olympia Extra Qualität" probably mid to later 1950s.
Very Nice! I like what you have done with the brim. Nice shape and dimensions, definitely my kind of lid!Still damp but I'm going to like it. I also reset the mule kick on the front crown a bit. Sand Peble has a bit of sage undertone that doesn't come out in the pics.

Absolutely beautiful! This may be my favorite that you have posted, at least until the next post.Rehfus Hutfabriken "Olympia Extra Qualität" probably mid to later 1950s.
Thank you Eric. Sometimes I worry about being a "compulsive poster" (Bob's comment from a while back), but this is my only outlet for conversation about my passion. My wife tolerates my obsession, and the general public rarely engages. The "Church Ladies" on Sundays regularly asks about hats. I just can't keep my comments to myself when I see a hat in front of me.Thanks for your kind comments today and for the gracious manner in which you acknoweldge the many posters beloved hats. You are a model of this forums civility and decorum. I am confident that I am not the only one noticing and appreciative.

Ugh. I can't decide which hat I want more. Decisions, decisions...
Dress hat? Me???You need a wide ribbon, Alex!
That hat can be worn for casual daily appearances, or for a dress hat, if you ever need that.
Thanks scotty!Dig the hat. Any pictures of it brim front down?

+1,heavy on "wow".Wow! Fantastic hat! Love the color & the ribbon!
Thanks scotty!
I wore it once with brim snapped down, and then found out that the style was meant to be worn up. I thought it looked a little off that way. So now it is brim up always.
