An Irish flat cap today. It's made by John Hanly & Co, one of Irelands oldest hat weavers. I picked it up in a little shop on Norfolk Island that specialised in caps and other interesting things.

Uummm....that's me on the left.

Today my sweetie and I went to her brother's wedding. I got to wear my Federation IV with "goin' out" clothes. The only other hats in evidence at the reception were two cowboy hats (this being Texas), a trucker cap, and a visor.

A good time was had by all.

Roninjedi, I'd like to welcome you to the Fedora Lounge. What a great choice that Fed on your head is :eusa_clap

Yesterday, I wore my Fed IV Heritage Fawn. But today, it was a bit warmer (close to 90F) and I took my pair of beagles out for a swim in a nearby creek and to run around the open space. Wore my Barmah Sundowner Roo made of skippy leather. What a great beater of a hat. Still so very surprised that it just never feels hot when out and about.

Anyway, welcome and thank you for posting such a happy looking pic :)

You wear everything so well mister!! that cap is outstanding. I ordered another Gloucester 8-panel from Bookster a month ago.. It should be coming real soon.

I am already perusing Bookster's 'site, with a view to ordering a couple of caps for winter. They have introduced some interesting new tweeds. Probably I will try a Gloucester this time - I ordered the larger variant of it last time. And I am considering that model with the earflaps, too. Not that I really think I would use this feature, but it looks great.

I really like your latest summer combo :eusa_clap
