I must make amends and thank, only now, all those who kindly commented on the latest hats I wore.
I have not had time before!
To celebrate the arrival of the "medals container to display" of the Borsalino history I wore a simple Borsalino
It has been produced fairly recently and its color and form are very common in the production of Alessandria factory
The felt is medium to easily malleable density
It is part of my find in Milan.
As soon as possible I will make a report on what I received three weeks ago
Nice Monday to everyone!
Recently picked up and restored Champ. I know this is not a desirable vintage hat or as nice a lid as most of other members really nice vintage hats. I don't know the age but is my first non-modern hat. The brim is 2.5" and 5" crown (open) so the dimensions were favorable and appears to be light weight. I picked this up at a local antique store and cleaned the felt (sweat?), made a custom ribbon (first attempt- will replace at a later time) and did some light shaping (all thanks to the enormous wealth of info on this forum- thanks everyone). Some before and after pics:
Good to see you vertical and under a sweet hat. I dig it with the brim up.Hey everyone! Been a while! Over a week of being sick. Lord have mercy.
Tilden Dillinger today. Wearing brim up, not something I'm used to, but I'm kinda digging it with this hat...

Not yet. Forgot. Will post photos this week for sure!YES! Glad you did. Pics?
Hey all!
Lots of nice hats today, as always! Many thanks to everyone for the likes and nice words on my recent posts.
Today, The Tiger Special from the Keith Bros. has the job of trying to draw the focus away from my mug. I believe this one dates to tbe mid teens to the very early twenties.
It is a very special tiger indeed, with thin, dense felt and a wonderful hand. The few moth nibbles don't distract a bit.
Have a great day!
That's so awesome that it makes me feel like throwing up. Just super, Moe!!!!Hey all!
