The same color ribbon and brim treatment, seems to make that Whippet a bit more attractive than most I've seen.

Yes indeed, I think the single colour works well on a lot of hats and can be a nice alternative to more contrasting combinations.

Yeah... I am 99.8759% that all parts are original.

Before I left it sitting in a box, it appears to have spent the vast majority of its life hanging out in a similarly dark place instead of on someone's head. So I have a hard time imagining that someone would have replaced the ribbon at some point.

Killer hat today, man. I'm looking forward to seeing that Stetson.

Thank you for your comments Cindy and Matt and for the likes for yesterday's photo. I've not been feeling like myself for a while and I've drifted out of touch with day to day hat adventures. Here is a simple little old furry number sold at Saks maybe ninety years ago. I think I will bring it with me on a trip to the city next week.
